Eyeliner help!!

I am having trouble trying to wear my eyeliner in a way that makes it less obvious (I use the pencil type) any tips out there on how to put it on? Thanks ladies.

Make sure it's super sharp and if you have a lighter, run the flame over the too of the pencil for for half a second to a second and it makes it really easy to glide on your lid. Just make sure it's not hot when you apply it...
