Oh now that you mention you do cheer and gymnastics I don't think that would be a good idea...it might get caught in things and come out while you're performing or whatever

the pain is different for most people for it was EXTREMELY painful.
btw getting your belly pierced does NOT make you a hoe.

I think you should get it ☺️ I got mine done in February, it took two weeks for it to heal and it did not reject! It is now June, it never gets red nor gets infected and it never pusses! I thought it was going to hurt but girl, it hurt way less then my nose piercing did. Also, if you do get it done, the common mistake people make is cleaning it with an alcohol based disinfectant, don't EVER do that. It makes it worse and can burn you'are tissue. I used 100% sea salt that people use as bath salt, with lukewarm water. It's a lot better because it is natural, it does burn a little at first but that is perfectly normal.
And about the way it makes someone look, it's under you'are clothing, half the time people cannot see unless you wear a crop top but it's nowhere near "trashy". Even if you do wear a crop top, it's still not trashy. It's body jewelry. It adds character. People will always throw around rude comments but those are the closed minded people.
If it makes you happy, get it. It made me happy when I got it, and I find it so cute for the summer, it's fun to change around the ring. So I think, yes, you should definitely get it!☺️

They're cute at first.. but being pregnant I took it out and I so wish I never got it. I just have a dark hole on my belly and I'll never have that "cute" baby bump. Idk I guess its not that big.of a deal but if you ever have to take it out, chances are you'll regret getting it.

The pain doesn't hurt. I'm also a cheerleader. I would say in the healing process wear a Bandaid over it. Don't wear dangly ones for Atleast 6 months. Clean daily! After healing process don't wear a band aid to practice and don't take it out for about a year unless you have to and after your done put it back in! Just because it's healed doesn't mean it wouldn't close up!
