I've heard the hypes of face oil as celebrities' fave skin treatment lately. Brands like Josie Maran Argan Oil, oliorusso, etc.are intriguing me to try them. But what's the difference of face oil and face serum? How do we actually use it?
Thanks!

Serums have certain purposes such as brightening or anti-aging, while face oils hydrate your skin. I think you just pat it on your skin after you cleanse and tone. (By the way face oils are better for drier skin so if you have super oily skin it might not be the best thing for you)

Oils are versatile n can be used a variety of ways - pure oils can be combined and used for cleansing - see the oil cleansing method for more details on that - for premade high end oils they usually come with instructions for suggested use - there are cleansing oil solutions, moisturizing oils, etc - moisturizing oils can be used alone or combined with your current moisturizer by adding a few drops and mixing in with your moisturizer in your hands - if you use it alone just put a few drops in your hands - rub your hands together and then rub the oil all over your face like a moisturizer

Also serums are more concentrated and are to be used in small quantities in small areas of the face where they are needed while oils can be used all over the face.
