Has anyone ever went to a tanning salon and got spray tanned? Do those turn you orange or look like a natural dark bronze tan? And do you prefer the machine that sprays you or an actual person?

Actual person they are a lot more precise and it's a nice natural dark tan they're never orange unless you choose orange

I use Jergins natural glow. It's a lotion but get the lotion and the foam. It's Get's you a nice brown color but then again I'm mixed so I don't Kno if that has anything todo with it.

Tanning mousses are just as good such at st tropez, st moritz and sunkissed they're brilliant when applied with a tanning mitt all over they leave you nice and brown and develop after a few hours into a natural looking tan.

I got spray tanned with a machine and was really surprised at the highest level I didn't look orange at all at first I really loved it but it dose wear off on any of your light colored clothes and will start to flake off once you shower a few times and looks bad along with the fact it's not perfect misses some spots which is only expected but for a one time occasion as long as your not really pale it's pretty awesome

That sucks I'm really pale like ghost white lol and I really want to get a dark tan and I used the jergons lotion before and that turned orange and creased in spots and I don't want to look orange lol I've never been dark before and really want to get that type of tan

I got it done by an actual person and I enjoyed it. I don't get my face done because in fear of breaking out. But I came out with a brow tan glow. :)

Ok I am still debating on going I really want to though lol but I might get it done by the machine only because I'm self conscious about my body cause I'm a lot bigger and I have stretch marks on my stomach.

I've never been spray tanned in the booth. My friend always does it for me because she has a spray tan booth in her house! She's a weirdo. 😂
It's taken trial and error but we finally figured out what works best. She went over it "good" first, then lightly a second time. I'm pleased with the results. (I have a spray tan now.)

To me, it's worth a shot! Do whichever you're more comfortable with. And wait to shower the next day!
I refuse to go in a tanning bed because they scare me! And of course, wrinkles!
Best of luck 💋

It's just a matter of finding what works for you! On a scale of 1-10 I'm a porcelain lol so my skin is hard to tan anyway. I've had a manual airbrush done 3 times and I've always looked orange, crease-y, and even dirty looking. I don't recommend getting one before a big event just so you can be sure you like the results. The fading can be a pain too, every time you shower it fades a bit, and very unevenly at that. I've also used Jergens which people rave about and I looked like a spotted giraffe after using it sooooo, as of right now I'm considering trying St. Tropez with the mitt. I've heard good things about that one :)

I didn't like spray tans. They feel really gross. My friend and I got them for prom one time and I couldn't scrub mine off quick enough. It was awful. My friend kept getting them over the summer and I had to tell her to stop. She looked ridiculous.

I'm afraid of tanning beds too! Lol my sister goes tanning and she's soo dark well now she's pregnant so she's really pale now lol but yeah I bought a self spray gun from Sally's and my friend it it to me and it was a nightmare so if it's anywhere near that expirence I will gladly pass lol.

I have tried it. It looks good if you Stick to the instructions (I used a machine) - but the main rule is to scrub the skin and moisturize well a day before, and then on the day you take a shower and do not put Anything on the skin. You choose the tan one tone darker than your own, and if you need to build up, you can go again the next day when your tan has appeared 😁

I had a spray tan for both my aunts wedding and my prom. You go super orange when you first have it done because you have excess on you and your not allowed to wash it off until 12 hours later I don't think? But after you've washed it off then it's a lovely colour. I prefer the person cause they know where they've sprayed and if any more is needed:)

I got spray tanned by a lady and it came out amazing. I didn't look orange, which is a miracle because I am extremely pale. Never been spray tanned by a machine though.

I'm a bit late here lol but I get a spray tan every week, I am really pale and I always get the darkest tan and never comes out orange. I'd advice you to get a light/medium tan as it's your first and sleep with it on. Don't panic if it looks extremely dark before your shower it becomes ALOT lighter once you have a shower :)

Getting it done by a person is defiantly better aswell as they won't miss any hidden areas.
