Does oil cause hair fallout?

So a couple of people have told me that putting oil on your scalp causes hair fall out. I tried it and I did noticed my hair would fallout more than usual. Has this happened to anyone else or is it just me??

That is if you do too much of it. You only want to do oil twice or three times a week. If you do everyday yes your hair will start coming out.
