Split the hair into two French braids. It should catch the layers.

Messy buns. That's what I always do if I'm going to be in water. Or ponytails. Simple and easy.

I agree with Cami. I've been a lifeguard for the past four summers and I always keep it in braids!
Keeps my hair tangle free and I get some pretty groovy waves in my hair once it dries! :)

I agree with Cami and KaLynn! Swimming is my life when it's wam enough and braids keep my hair somewhat tangle free, bot completely but better than down, ponytail, and buns :)

Try putting the shorter front part up like you would in half up half down, then take the rest and pull it back, attaching it to the ponytail.
