So my hair goes a little bit past the middle of my back and I want to grow it past my tail bone by May.
I just started putting coconut oil in my hair twice a week and massage my scalp everyday.
Will I be able to grow my hair the length I want it by May?
Do I have to change some things I'm doing?

I'm not really sure how fast it grows. I think it grows around an inch a month or a little more natural without doing anything to it.
I will definitely look into those shampoos :)
Thank you :)

Well you can't increase the rate you grow your hair because that not possible, it depends on how fast your hair grows on it's own. Other than that, you can just keep it healthy. Oils are good to use, yes, but also make sure that you wash your hair right (shampoo on the scalp and then through your hair) don't cause any breakage and if you have split ends, cut them! Don't let them split up and make you have to cut more hair.
However, I don't think it will grow that long in 3 months.
Frame of reference: I dye my hair and my roots are up to 3 inches in 2-3 months. I think my hair grows kind of fast, but that's just me lol. My hair used to be a bit below my shoulders and now it's at my tail bone. That took maybe a year (I had slightly damaged hair at the time).

Cut your hair every 3-4 weeks, just a trim so it's healthy n no split ends.

I didn't use any other products than I normally did (just normal hair shampoo and conditioner) and didn't damage my hair by not using heat for over a year, my hair is now at my waist, it all depends on how quickly yours grows though// also I rarely had mine cut.
