Need some answers!

I need someone to answer some questions and know what they are talking about. I am a makeup user but I have never used face makeup (foundation, blush, etc) But I am starting to see some "age" in my face and I am thinking I'm going to start using face makeup. So ladies, my big question is....
What is Foundation, concealer, powder, blush, highlighters, bronzers, and bb cream? What does each one do? Do you need all of them?

no less is more concealer can be used to cover blemishes, dark circles under eyes or any slight discoloration. foundation is all over color to even out skin tone. foundations can be liquid, stick, cream, powder ect. foundations are chosen by the amount of coverage you need or prefer. powder sets the cream products blush is to highlight and add color and intensity to your look. bronzers give the skin a sun kissed look. primer is used after mousturizer to prepare the skin for make up application and long wear.and before foundation. bb or beauty benefit is like a tinted moisturizer that benefits the skin with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants or anti-aging formulas. make up can be a matte finish or dewy/shine finish. you always want to use whats best for you skin type matte finish is usually used for combination-oily skin and are usually water based while someone with dry-normal skin are better suited to use oil based products. spf should slwsys be in your face makeup or moisturizing lotion unless make application is used for photography. hope that helped
