How do you use coconut oil?!? I tried to use it once and it was like solid and I tried to put it in my hand and put it in my hair and it was a clumpy mess that did absolutely nothing. So I'm pretty I used it wrong soo how do you use it?!?

There are so many uses, Laura! It should be used to seal in moisture if used for your hair and body! Just apply it after conditioning/ moisturizing! It can also be used to make lip balms, and scrubs and cooking and so many other things!! Google it! You can make some awesome things!! You should warm it up in your palms before applying it so it will not be clumpy!

Agree with Isabel! You can even make some gorgeous simple lipsticks with just coconut oil and crayola crayons!!

I use it, just take a small amount and comb it through your hair, make sure to especially put it on the ends of your hair, if done correctly it should add shine and softness :)

Try buying Coconut Hair Milk. It's coconut oil only in a hair cream form. Might be better for you if you're starting off. (:

I fill up the sink with hot water and let it sit for a minute. There will be plenty melted and just use a dab to put on your ends and scalp. Then wash it out.

^ That is what I do. Higher temps strip it of some valuable properties.

Heat it up for 10 seconds then put it in your hair.
