Here's a picture of me without lipstick. Could you recommend any nude lipstick colours that would look good on me?

Put a darker lipliner on with the nude lipstick so your lips aren't just one color and disappear into your face.

Nude/pink colours look better on me but I find they don't look "nude" on me. I don't really know how to explain it. For example I have a nice pinkish nude lipstick but since my lips are quite pigmented you can almost barely tell I'm wearing the lipstick but if I go with something lighter then it just makes me look sick against my pale skin.

I currently own:
- Revlon "Demure" (can barely tell I'm wearing lipstick)
- Kate Moss "17" (almost matches my lip colour)
- Revlon "Twinkled Pink" makes me look sick

Thanks for the tip! I never use a lip liner but maybe I'll have to invest in one.

Haha thank you Gaby! I'm not wearing any lipstick in that picture, it's just my natural lip colour :P.

Nude lipstick should be a shade darker or the same shade as your skin color - when it's lighter then it makes you look ghostly... Wayne goss has a video of makeup don't's that includes that ;)

I have the same problems with nude lipsticks and our natural lip colors, I found Nyx's soft matte lip cream in either Abu Dhabi and Stockholm work well for me. I can't remember which one I favored, but I'll swatch them for you later =) wet n wilds "bare it all" also worked really well for me so it's definitely worth a try, I'll swatch that for you too =)

Since youre pale... I'd say go for a neutralish pink tone. itll look nude but it won't wash you out. you really have to test out the colors on you to get the full idea. good luck!

Try Macs Velvet Teddy (matte). it's very pretty with a smokey eye and isn't too light of a color. also, try buying a lipliner that is near the same color as your lips or a little darker and you can pair this with the lipstick to help your lips to not blend in with the rest of your face.
