Interested in knowing opinions of whether short or long hair is for femme? I know both can look good depending on the person but when you think of that 'it' girl or what you perceive does she have short hair or long? lemme know opinions everyone's different
I personally have long hair and always thought long hair is the most femme for a women. but obviously back way when when men were rocking the longer doo maybe it was different? hmm? and what do you think men prefer?

I personally think shorter hair is more femme, I find it more mature. But I agree with Rebecca too, femininity is about how you carry yourself and how you feel.

I'll post a before and after of my hair long (before) and short (after, got my hair cut today)

My man prefers short hair, he things long hair is to much of a hassle. Easy to reach out and pull on (if you were ever in a bad situation), is super annoying when you're trying to be intimate, and he thinks it's to idealized.

I personally think it's a personal thing. No hair type is really more 'feminine' then the other, as that's a...media contributed way of thinking. They love showing us beautiful tall girls with long hair and nothing else. Long hair is beautiful, short hair is beautiful, but not everyone can do both.

I've seen those makeover shows where people that had long hair cut it and now look 10 years older, and not in a good way sometimes. I've seen people with short hair that would look better long. But either way, both are feminine and neither is wrong to have.
Ike I got pissed over those girls in England (I think) who were suspended for having boy cuts, the feminist in me was enraged. It's the 21st century, women no longer have to abide by men's standards of beauty and can do what they want how they want and still be gorgeous ( mini rant over).

I'm not ranting at you but you're trying to generalise about 3 billion women and around 4 billion men. Some girls look more feminine with short hair, some long hair, and some no hair. It's about hairstyles, face shapes, hair types and each persons preference and taste, not length. Personally I think a women looks her most feminine when she's confident and comfortable in herself.

It depends on what their standard of feminine is. Plus gender is very fluid along with the ideas of masculinity and femininity. If someone identifies with being a girl call them by girl pronouns and if someone identifies as a guy call them by guy pronouns. If they don't identify as either ask them their preferred pronouns.how you look doesn't determine if you are a girl or a boy. Or how feminine or masculine you are.

As a random note, masculine and feminine are also culture based things. What we deem as being masculine in the US may be different then what some other countries deep as masculine (and we have some pretty stupid stuff that's supposed to be masculine, same with feminine).

Both femme. No matter how short a women's hair is doesn't make her less of a women. In fact sometimes it makes her appear stronger because now she doesn't have a security blanket that was long hair :)

@Emily I get the question and what she was trying to say, but if you answer long hair or short hair you're telling girls that they aren't as feminine as someone else based on a hairstyle and encouraging putting people into moulds of what they 'should be' and 'should look like'. And we aren't lecturing her, we're are trying to get the point across that everyone is beautiful they way they are and they way they like to look.
@Janae Thank you :)

@Emily yes there are society's rules of what is and what is not feminine and how girls should look but shouldn't we be trying to break theses molds and just accept everyone?

Yeah I'm with caitriona and ember. also, its not about what men want. we shouldnt do something because men like it. my bf doesn't like me with a fringe...I got a frige anyway. be who you want to be. and do what makes you feel good.
