I use conditioner, shave against the grain, reapply the conditioner, and then go against it. Also I use a men's facial razor, because I LOVE a super smooth shave. Good luck!

Yeah, after I shave with it really well, I go back and shave against it for a baby smoothness. I don't know if it will work foe other people, but it certainly works for me.

I don't understand when they say shave WITH the grain because the never ever works for me. Not on my legs or anywhere! I've heard that you should exfoliate first.

Shave with a razor which is for men's faces, shaves a lot better and you'll have less chance of nicking yourself.
Pull the skin tight so its easier an you get more hair.
Shave against the grain (opposite way the hair is facing) and take it slow and do not rush it!
Use conditioner and a non scented shaving cream.

Exfoliate 24hours.before to remove dead skin cells and reduce chances of ingrown hairs, apply hot flannel to area first to open pores, apply shaving cream to area, shave against hair growth whilst pulling skin taunt, clean razor after each stroke and make sure blade is clean, sharp, and rust free, wash area with cool water when finished and apply a soothing after care lotion such as aloe vera gel.

Whoa. Other girls use mens shavers too! Yay! Let's spread the news!:) I used to have such issues shaving"down there"until I got married, used my mans shaver and have never stopped since. It has like 5 blades and is battery operated. I Don't know what works about the vibrating but it does.

Pretty much everyone has said everything there is to say. I can't stress enough, 1. Use a good quality mans razor, and 2. MOISTURIZE! otherwise you'll get very itchy and get ingrown hairs... no fun. it gets easier (and the regrowth more comfortable),the more you do it. Good luck! take you're time... cuts down there the worst lol!
