I bought a clarisonic Mia 2, which comes with a sensitive brush head. Used it for a month, tried to wait out the "purge" phase and my skin was an absolute nightmare! So I did some research and thought I should try the delicate brush head, a month later with the delicate brush, my skin was still awful. I used the purity cleanser with my clarisonic. Now a month after I quit using it, my skin is STILL A NIGHTMARE! WORST it's EVER been, and it's not fun :( it's taking a toll on my confidence! So I need help? Any suggestions? Should I try it again? Or avoid? Suggestions to clear up my monster face??
Thanks in advance loves!!

I agree with velen you should stop using it altogether - the clarisonic is like an exfoliating tool and if you have sensitive acne prone skin you could be making matters worse - look up wayne goss on youtube n watch his experience with the clarisonic - it will change your mind about using it and he also has helpful tips on how he got rid of his acne that could help you too - but I personally use more natural skin care products like willow bark cleanser, witch hazel toner n tea tree oil spot treatment - making the switch to natural products really helped my skin personally but I've never owned the clarisonic because I don't think they could make a brush that works better than my own soft fingers ;)

Also yeah see the dermatologist because the type of acne you have will affect what products will work for you - if you have cystic acne its most likely a hormone imbalance that most acne products cannot fix - but changing your diet to be more healthy with veggies and plenty of water usually helps as well as destressing with exercise or yoga too - some girls also use birth control to help too but see the derm n see what they say.

Thank you all so much for the advice! I take a multivitamin daily, and I've recently started drinking TONS of water and trying to eat more veggies. I'm definitely going to try drinking some more green tea and I really want to try the CeraVe! I do want to see a dermatologist, but truthfully I'm embarrassed! I keep wanting to wait for my skin to clear up and go, but I just need to bite the bullet. I've never been to one so I don't know what to expect. Do you wear makeup to a dermatology appointment? Thanks ladies!!
