My face feels really dry and it's kinda flaky.. I think my cleanser causes it but I can't stop using it because of my acne.. Any tips to make my skin look and feel better? Homemade mask or scrubs or something? Thanks.xx

*Moisturizer!? A oil free one will help with the dryness. Using an acne cleanser everyday morning and night may cause dryness too. Are you drinking enough water and exfoliating 2-3 times a week!?

Yeah I understand. It is really hard to have acne prone and dry skin. It is the worst combination of two in one. Maybe your acne is caused because of dry skin type. If it is like that than I reccomend you to moisturise your face twice in a day and drink a lot of water ( 4-8 cups in a day). If you have dry, oily and acne prone skin that is also the worst three in one combination. I had that type of skin a half of year ago but as I said I started to moisturise and drink more water and now my skin is just oily and acne prone. And I don't get so many acne. So the first step is to make your skin stop being dry. You can use moisturiser after that cleanser and it would be fine. :-)

You need to get a good moisturizer and pit that on morning and night, after you wash you face. And exfoliate about 2 times a week to get all that flakey skin off so it can heal and become hydrated. Also drink lots of water if your in school carry around a water bottle and just keep drinking!!

I just slightly scrubbed my face with some honey and sugar (lips included they were horrible!) And made a natural mask out of yoghurt, honey and sunflower oil. Left it on for 20 minutes and my skin feels really soft right now :) I drink loads of water btw.. ;) And I have to do a lot to keep my acne in control.. I'll visit the pharmacy this week to buy a good moisturizer, don't really have one..
