I'm in the same boat as you lol. I don't know if you do this already, but it seems to go by much faster when you straighten smaller sections. then you only have to go over it once or twice! :)

I have VERY thick.. I mean thick, wavy hair. It takes me a little less than an hour with my babyliss pro straightener. I wash my hair, immediately blow dry and section off my hair and straighten it. I use a heat treatment by loreal it's the pink/ black tube I forgot the name of it but it works wonders for me 😁

While straightening a piece, pull down on the ends to make the hair seem straight. That helps me

Blow dry your hair straight before you straighten it! either get a blow drier with an attached brush at the end ( all of the new blow driers have this attachment) or continuously brush your hair and blow dry it, holding the blow drier above you head and aiming it down. do this in sections & it'll be a lot easier to straighten (:

I use to have the same problem... Not anymore! I have natural curly hair. It use to take me almost 3 he's to straighten now I'm down to 45-50mins. You have to use a blow dryer that will cut your drying time in half. I use the NuMe blow dryer. It dries your hair 50% faster than regular driers. I split my hair down the middle n run a brush through it while I dry one side at a time. Once dry I jus pass my flat iron through it section by section n that only takes about 10mins. The longest part for me is blow drying but the drier has still cut my work time in half. The key to flat ironing your hair fast is the use of good quality tools. Invest in a gd drier and straighter n that will get the job done.
