You shouldn't put toothpaste on your acne. use ice, honey, peppermint oil, tea tree oil, baking soda & water paste, or aspirin & water paste.

Actually, very harsh toothpaste brands cause acne around your mouth, so I wouldn't put any kind of toothpaste around my spots:s.

Please go get a spot treatment that is meant for the treatment of acne. Toothpaste is not going to work and it can burn and irritate your skin. Or if you have to crush up an aspirin and make a paste with a little water and use that. Or pop a liquid gel and apply that. Home remedies are not always the way to go!
