How do you give yourself a manicure at home? I'm talking more than just painting your nails obviously :)

Well I file and shape my nails. I also take one of those 4-sided cubes and remove the ridges and shine my nails. Add a strengthener and some cuticle oil to my nails. OH! And I also soak them in warm olive oil for 5-10 minutes ^_^

I remove all my prior polish first. Then I wash my hands to get rid of excess remover since its drying to my skin. Next I apply a nice thick hand cream. Also, I apply cuticle cream and or oil to soften them. I don't push my cuticles back often but you can do that next. You can cut and file your nails now. Before applying polish I take some polish remover and quickly swipe it across each nail to remove access moisture. Then I apply a base coat, 2-3 coats of polish and a topcoat! That's the simple way for me LOL(:
