Can I wear a single eyeshadow? Help!

I wanted to know if I can wear a single eyeshadow from lid to brow. without looking crazy and if so what would be some color suggestions.

I do from time to time but I don't go up the brow. I stop just above my crease depending on the shade and I only do it using more natural shades that are light on shimmer and close to my skintone (like shimmer chocolate or a bronzy rose shade. Then go buck wild on the mascara.

I used to do it, but I say at least wear two colors, a light one and a darker crease one.

Of course. But I would blend the shadow from the lash line to the crease not all the way to the brow. Almost like a single shadow smokey eye. Cool!
