I also have hazel eyes, and to be honest I've found that I can wear any shade of eyeshadow that possibly exists. however, if you want to make your eyes appear a certain color, look to the shades opposite the color wheel. for example, any shade of red, orange or pink (including burgundy and peachy colors, so long as it has a warm reddish undertone) will make your eyes look very green. any shade of bright blue or purple will make your eyes look very brown. other colors that look beautiful are olive/army green, antique golden shades, warm browns. but really, you can pull off any color at all. a few favorite products for making my eyes look very green: Urban Decay's eyeliners in Rockstar and in Bourbon, Kat Von D's True Romance Palette in Poetica, shade Chandler. a few generally pretty colors: Urban Decay's eyeliner in Stash, Nars Larger than Life eyeliner in Bourbon Street, Urban Decay's shadow in Mushroom...any color you can think of will look great.

Like Hannah already thoroughly explained, you can use the colors opposite of your eyecolor to make them pop!! For my eyecolor, olive green in normal light, I would use purples to make them pop! I am just applying a very detailed and more easily figured out color wheel!

I like to use pinks / browns (Naked 3) but an olive green really pops as well.

I steer away from greys and blues as it washes me out with my red hair. Plus I feel like blue and hazel just don't go.  :/
