All is true but the first part about flipping you head upside down I would think this is done to encourage blood flow which can stimulate the foil cake and help grow brushing your hair daily dose the same thing

Honestly I don't believe the flipping your hair over is going to help your hair grow fast. You'll probably get dizzy that's about it. How fast your hair grows has to do with genetics. Moisturizing and using a wide tooth comb just helps protect it from damage, breakage, & spit ends.

Applying random quantities of hormones to your scalp is not going to help you and more than likely will either do nothing at all, or cause bad side effects. Do not put your birth control in your shampoo.
Nothing will accelerate the growth rate of your hair. It is determined entirely on genetics. You can keep your hair healthy and prevent breakage and excess fall, but that is it. If you are malnourished, your hair growth will slow or stop, so make sure you have a healthy diet. Do not start any new supplements (e.g. biotin, prenatal vitamins) without speaking to your doctor. Taking vitamins you don't need can cause side effects, interact with prescriptions, and is overall a waste of money.
Remember folks, anecdotes are not evidence. Empirical scientific research shows that you cannot accelerate your hair growth. Just be healthy and be patient.

Couldn't agree more with Emily here. It's the same concept with Vaseline and eyelashes. It doesn't make them grow. Please don't potentially harm yourself for something that you biologically we can do very little to change. Keep your body healthy and use things like deep conditioners, hair masks, etc.to keep hair healthy instead of just putting a random cocktail of medications or vitamins on your scalp or body. If you take care of your body it will be able to function better and you may find your hair grows faster. You might not though since it all comes down to genetics anyway.
