Givenchy Mister Mat works like a charm. Smashbox Anti-Shine is AMAZING. Just use it sparingly. It contains magnesium which is a miracle ingredient for absorbing oil. Also try setting with a silica powder. Tarte Smooth Operator Setting Powder is great. Silica powders are extremely fine powders that are pretty much undetectable on the skin. They absorb oil extremely well and due to their fine texture, they can be applied several times throughout the day without looking cakey. They also blur the appearance of pores.

When I do makeup on a client with oily skin, I have two products that I swear by. The first is the Light Photo Finish primer by Smashbox. The second is the De-Slick setting spray by Urban Decay, which I mist on oily areas before any makeup and primer, after all the cream makeup is set, and then a final time once the full face makeup is completely for a truly matte, oil-free lockdown. I also may use a mattifying product (I use one from Dermalogica) if I need to get rid of oil before applying makeup. I recommend blotting sheets for touch-ups, but I've always heard that they aren't needed with my system.

Lorac's POREfection mattifying primer ftw!! I have finicky combination skin & live in humid sw Florida, so fighting oil, sweat and irritation is something I deal with almost all year long. It is oil, fragrance and paraben -free and blows ALL of the other primers I've tried out of the water. I HIGHLY recommend it <3.
