I really want to dye my naturally auburny-brown hair either purpley brown or reddy brown. I would prefer not to have to bleach it first but I could if I needed to. Has anyone got any ideas of what shade and what brands would work? Thanks xx

Go to Sally's beauty supply, and look for L'Or?al Hicolor Highlights in Red Hot for a darker red color, it's for dark hair so there's no bleaching required, that's how I did my hair. All you need is developer, no bleach, and the colors are vibrant. I used L'Or?al hicolor highlights in Magenta for my hair color in my profile picture.
