My director wants me to dye my hair red to suit the character I'm playing. Does anyone have any suggestions on a red that would look natural, but still stand out on stage? pic for reference.

@Rylee Yes, Ginger is a better word, thank you :)
@Jacqlyn and @Rylee both of those are really lovely reds.
@Teresa that color suits you so so nicely, but I think I'd need something more vibrant :)

@Symone those are great! Would you happen to know the names of any temporary dyes that would give that effect?

I was at Sally's today and saw a coppery ginger color by ion, it was semi permanent, but I can't remember the name sadly. Just go to Sally's and ask the lady at the counter, she'll help you find what you're looking for.

Oh my gosh...those look so fun! I went red once...more strawberry blonde that my stylist matched perfectly to my daughter's natural shade at the time. The downside was having nothing suitable in my paltry wardrobe to wear. Show us pix please of what you finally do!

I'd say go for the brightest red you can, not a ginger red but a vibrant red, just because I can see it working well with your eyes :)

@Tanya unfortunately my director is the one getting the color for me over spring break, so I can't go myself :( I wish I could though.
@Tanya aaaw, you two matching, how precious! ill post pics~ in full costume and everything :3
@Shaye ooh I'd like to, but its for school so it would have to be more natural. Maybe over the summer :)
