I have hair that is 38.5 Inches long or 98 centimeters and always get 2 reactions and others that range in between.
1) How do get your hair to be this long?! I've been trying to grow mine out forever!
2) You really need to cut your hair! It's not grown up.
Personally, I think long hair is sexy and beautiful and I want to have it as long as my scalp wants to bless me with it. I think its not too high maintenance and have come up with some pretty neat styles that I want to add to my channel. Anybody have similar reactions to having long hair?

When I used to wear my hair straight it sat just below my butt. Never measured it but my pet peeve was when women would straight up ask me if it was a weave or whisper snide remarks within earshot. The craziest was when I went to a Korean restaurant back home and some lady offered to buy some of it for $500 bucks. I've donated three times to Locks of Love over the years....I'll donate before I ever sell my hair.

I had a woman come up to me in a Target parking lot and ask me where I bought my hair from! She even reached out like she was going to touch it but I sidestepped her and yelled out "It's my hair!" as I walked to the store. My hair wasn't even very long at that point, it was about 3/4 the way down my back when straightened. When I was a kid, my mom never let me cut my hair so it was long enough to sit on, but I don't remember anyone ever saying anything rude back then.

My hair is very long, almost down to my butt. I love my long hair. I cut it short once, and I was so upset. I cried about it forever (granted I was a lot younger) but still. Short hair just does not suit my face! Do whatever you want to do, it's YOUR hair, not theirs! So what do they care? You can't take peoples opinions too seriously, most people are just so rude and inconsiderate anymore.

I always get asked if my hair is real or have extensions...really?? some people don't believe me that it's my real hair, so I just have them feel my scalp :)

Of which none exist, which makes me just think that even if it was fake why would you do that? I only learned about extensions about a year ago for the first time and weaves and such due to the Good Hair documentary that came out. And long hair is starting to get back in trend but say a couple of years ago it was definitely stylish to have shorter hair and my hair is like Victoria's in that it's at my butt/almost beyond it.

The longest I ever got my hair was just above my butt, shortly after I started getting massive headaches. Sure enough it was cause my hair was too much for me to handle :(. Do any of you experience headaches or discomfort of any sort? Oh and after my headaches I went and cut my hair into a bob cut like Rihanna's. it was definitely too hard to not have my hair anymore, I felt naked! Now I'm growing it back out again!

I had a bob for a couple years now I'm regretting it and letting my hair grow and wearing extensions to wait out the process, it sucks!

@Hailey Jo K. I heard from my friend that extensions are really bad for your hair if you wear them everyday since they can weaken your roots from all the extra weight. I don't wear extensions unless I want to add a pop of color once in a blue moon.

I haven't had any bad experiences with them I love my clip in extensions! My hair has grown back super thick and healthy! :)
