Ever since I can remember I've had redness around one side of my nose- it's sometimes a lot worse than others! When it is bad make up will just not apply primer, foundation, concealer it all just looks cakey as I try to apply more and more to cover it!
I've tried exfoliating, moisturising etc.does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks

Try green concealer to cover the redness

I kinda have the same problem. I'm a little red but most because I get oily breakthrough their only. Everywhere else I'm dry. So I use 2 foundations. On my nose & sides of my nose, I use Estee Lauder Double Wear MAXIMUM COVERAGE Foundation. Its a heavier coverage than the regular Double Wear BUT it's actually THINNER in texture. Stays in place all day.

I meant it has a FULLER coverage not HEAVIER but is thinner in texture so it adheres to the skin really well. It almost feels waterproof although I don't think it claims to be.

I also have some pretty bad redness on my face (nose and cheeks) and green correcting concealer under regular concealer definitely helps. I hate wearing that much product on my face though, so I just went to the dermatologist and was prescribed an azeliac acid cream to help with the redness. Now a lot of the redness is fading and I don't feel like I need green corrector anymore. I definitely recommend speaking to a dermatologist.
