Okay, so underneath I have a faded pink because it's been about a month since I've dyed it. I have bleach though, so I'm just going to turn it back to blonde. I bought splat lusty lavender which is a dark purple, but I heard if I mix it with conditioner it will turn lighter and I just keep adding more until it's the color I want. Will this work? If not, does anyone have a way that I could turn that hair dye into a pastel purple? Thanks 💗💋

Mixing it with a white conditioner will work!(: I used to have pastel pink and I used conditioner to get it lighter.

What's white conditioner? Can I just use any conditioner?

Your hair has to be pretty blonde for this to work, almost like a platinum blonde or the color won't turn out "pastel" you could mix the original color (dark purple) with white conditioner, it could be any conditioner but the paste has to be white. Just add as much conditioner as you want & apply it to your hair.

Totally agree with Karen. It won't grab like pastel if you don't have really blonde hair.

Plus if you don't use enough purple in the conditioner/dye mix it will just tone your hair a bit. I know ion and Sally's has a lavender dye.

Yes it works :) add one drop or two into a mixing bowl, add your conditioner and mix it very well. After that apply it to your ends first and roots last, leave it on for an hour or more and wash it out.
