I think your hair color now is pretty! But if you want to dye it, you could maybe do a little lighter or darker. I wouldn't do anything to drastic considering you've never really tried other colors. Take baby steps and gradually go lighter or darker.

With spring right around the corner I would try adding a few highlight or balayage pieces in. That will brighten it up a bit without a HUGE change. Since you have never colored your hair before that would be a good step.

Try ombré with your natural color on top and a honey blonde on bottom :) or light brown/blonde highlights.

I personally really don't like bright colored hair colors. and red won't look to good on me because of my skin tone. I really like dark blondeish or dark brown.

@Shannon I really don't know what color it would be considered it is like a dark brownish but with golden undertone.

Something like a darker brown with a red tint to it would look amazing :)
Or even just a regular dark brown :)
