This is basically a repost.

My hair is the red and I'm looking to go to that shade of purple. Reading through the stylist's comments I found out that her hair was red as well before coloring. She said it was faded but I'm not sure how faded it actually was. She did her hair with a bright purple dye that I believe used developer.

1. Do you think the purple would like good on me?
2. Should I just go over my hair with a purple dye or mix with red?
I do not want it a super duper bright purple and I'd be going over it with ion color brilliance brights

1. Yes!
2. Purple. It won't come out purple but a really dark red with a purple tint if you don't use a color remover (L'oreal colorzap or color oops is really good. I literally used it today)

Post pics! I literally just dyed mine purple and I'm waiting to wash out my conditioner ☺️☺️
