Why are we no longer allowed to post links to our blogs on here anymore? I used to love checking out other people's beauty blogs and now if you make a post about it, it automatically gets deleted ):

I see plenty of those kinds of threads in the "Intros & Promotion" section. My best guess is the deleted posts were in the wrong section or were spamming other threads.

Oh I've never even thought to look there. I didn't think I've spammed other threads, or at least I never tried intentionally lol. Like if someone posts a question about something I have on my blog I'll post a link to help them out but it always gets deleted. Thank you Emily!

Yeah it is kind of up to the mods as to whether it is allowed in that context. I find it helpful, but some see it otherwise. Maybe instead of just linking, mention that you have a blog with more detail and offer to link if they ask? That way your post won't get automatically deleted.
