I have medium, wavy hair and every time in try to make a bun, it falls apart because my hair isn't long enough. Is there a bun that I can make that won't make my hair hate me?

Joyus.com has a band and half band that rolls and then snaps hair into a bun. Your length would be a half band. You should be able to find something similar at a Beauty supply store.

1. Pull all of my hair into a high ponytail (don't worry about any pieces that fall down)
2. Apply my red sock and cover it with my hair (this would be my second hair tie)
3. Pin all the hair that's fallen up with bobby pins
4. Apply hairspray
5. Pull the hair in the bun to make it look fuller
Sometimes I'll use gel when I put it up though. You just have to find a way that works for you. Here's my messy bun

I have very silky, thick hair. It barely stays in anything. However, once I bought spin pins I could whip my hair into a bun, pin it, and have it last all day! Check them out! So much better than the average bobby pin!
