Hi Bellas! I am interesting in possibly getting a facial, but my skin reacts to the slightest touch! The tiniest little friction with my skin makes it turn red and sometimes little bumps come up...anyway I was curious if a facial would cause my face to swell seeing as how sensitive my skin is...but I have adult acne and it's annoying me, I miss my clear skin!!

You could always do a diy honey and oatmeal mask. Very soothing.

Ooh! I'll look into some DIY masks, good idea ladies thank you!! And @C j so do you just put cucumber juice on your face? Do you wash it off after?

I shouldn't swell but you will be red after just tell them you want a facial for sensitive skin but if you getting extractions they are going to steam your face first and extractions do leave red marks but the redness should not last long and they will use calming ingredients after your facial, but if your that sensitive you might not want one and clear skin really has to do with your daily routine a facial won't clear your skin its ment to help or to treAt your skin ,and pamper yourself but don't look for a miracle

I was thinking that a facial would sort of be like a detox for the pores? Am I wrong in thinking this? I wash my face morning and night and use clarisonic about twice or three times a week..and I use a toner and oil free moisturizer.. I don't know why I have breakouts still

No your not wrong hun facials are great to have ,and to help with extractions ,I still get a pimple every now and then too its no way of telling ,somehow bacteria gets in you can try adding a retinol serum at night and see if that helps your sensitive so start with twice a week a pea size amount and try and work your way up if you can tolerate it
