I'm looking for a new foundation that's relatively sheer for everyday wear but can be easily built upon when needed.
Any recommendation for products available in Australia?

Maybelline has a great bb cream! I know it gets hot there too so it's light and has some coverage and has SPF! It's great.

I think you have loreal But I don't know for sure. if you do get the true match or the true match lumi. They are lightweight and buildable. the lumi one is great if you have dry skin and want to make it look so flat.

I personally avoid sheer foundations. I would buy a medium coverage foundation and mix it with moisturizer to sheer it out for everyday wear. When you want more coverage just don't add the moisturizer. I noticed the lighter coverage foundation crease and get cakey when you later them plus you use more... If you think about it. Using a medium coverage foundation and mixing it with a moisturizer can have it last about twice as long
