I'm really looking for a great liquid liner! Something matte and just great.

I agree with Lauren about Nyx Liners. I live them and they have so many different version to choose from... A liner I purchased a long time ago, that I was overly pleased with, was the Jordana Liquid Liner in black... It is incredibly inexpensive and provides a nice fluid line that last all day. My only issue is that I wish the brush was slightly more firm... Lol... Overall, it is a suprisingly good product... Hope this helped... Oh you could also try gel liners. I love Maybellines gel liner...

I always use Revlon Color Stay liquid liner. It has a nice felt tip on it. The only downside is if you mess up, it really shows.

Stila Stay All Day is very black, but its almost shiny looking? But it stays on really good 7am-10pm and it still looks good. I'm not big on Maybelline's Studio Liquid Liner, just because it doesn't last very good. Kat Von D'a pen (all the liners I'm talking about are pen's) and it last just as long as Stila's but I think its easier to apply, but its more matte than Stila's. Revlon's is similar to Kat and Stila, but it doesn't last as long, but its still pretty good.

My all time favorite is the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner pen. It is very black, very sleek, and won't budge even if you shed some tears haha! I have put this on at lunch time and wore it all day and then even slept in it, and it is still there in the morning. The pen's tip is very flexible and thin too which makes it easy to get a nice clean line.
As for the drugstore, the Elf Liquid Liner is really nice and it's only $3. It is also very black, has great staying power, and is quite simple to apply.
Good luck 💋
