I have a bad very swollen pimple on my nose. I tried using retinol, regular acting medication and supplements. It's just seems to be getting even more swollen. I was wondering if I not only took vitamin e and vitamin a but also applied the vitamin a oil from the capsule to the pimple. Is a terrible idea?

I know popping it is not good but is it ready to pop? maybe puncture it and drain it then clean with alcohol and iodine?

If it is, it's very deep.

That's not really going to help apply warm compress to the area until it pops or if you see it has a white head on it although you shouldn't really pop your pimples I know one on your nose is painful and annoying so if you must pop it you have to wait till it's at a head then after apply a tiny bit of neosporin so it doesn't scar or get infected after its healed you can apply vitamin e if you have a tiny dark spot ,don't puncture it please you just take two clean tissue wrap them around your two pointer fingers and gently squeeze it,and it sounds like it may be cystic those take a long time to come to the surface

What about warm compressions to bring it up or I've heard cold compression for the swelling...

Follow Traci's advice and stop applying various products on it because you're just contributing to further irritation and possible scarring.

If it gets painful taking ibuprofen really helps and reduces swelling for me.

Try any face mask with charcoal or mixing charcoal capsules with vitamin E.
