I am wanting to buy a dress off etsy. the price is $150 so of course I'm hesitant to buy something so expensive off a website I've never used before. Does anyone know if this website is legit or a fraud?

It depends on the seller. Etsy is where people make stuff and then sell it. A friend of mine bought a dress from there and it turned out just fine. Do you know the name of the seller? Check reviews too.

Try to buy something small from that seller an see how it goes. I have never had a problem with them.

$150 and only one review. It doesn't sound good. Its not a scam site but with that price I would wait or buy something cheaper just to get a feel of the seller. Also check the return policy.

Absolutely check reviews. Make sure people are saying that the seller sent the product in good condition, and it was of good quality/worth the price.

Etsy is awesome! Most of the stuff on there is either handmade or vintage, and everything I've ever bought on there I was satisfied with its definitely not fraud :)

I did a whois lookup for this site etsy.com using http://www.whoisxy.com/ Here I got formatted information. Then I have searched some reviews in Google finally I saw some reviews here Scamadviser site I got this message "High Trust Rating.This Site Looks Safe To use." and here Webutation.net I got 100% web reputation.With these I think it is legit only.If you are satisfied with these reviews you can go with them.
