So what's your favorite out of the ordinary lip color (s) on yourself or other people? Purple has always been one mine, but I've recently fallen in love with blue and green.

I'm personally a huge fan of black lipstick. not all that unusual, I know, but it's very different down here in Miami where it's always sunny, and people look at me like I'm a crazy goth.

Oh it's different here in VA to. Unless you're in Hot Topic people look at you like 'Whhhhaaaattt is she wearing?'.

Lol, I know that feeling. I lived in Baltimore MD for 19 years, people aren't the most accepting. it's just that here in Miami you get all of the "I look perfect all the time and don't leave the house without lipstick and heels" women from various extremely feminine latin cultures, so when you wear something that isn't bright red lipstick no one really knows how to handle it.

Nothing I've tried so far. They all are matte but don't pull or tug at the lips like MAC does. UD is creamier, bare minerals has a slight sheen to it and has a moisturizing feeling, Tarte is similar but kinda feels...drier in a way (to me). I haven't tried Kay Von D or Buxom lipsticks so I can't say how they feel in comparison to those.

I loooove black and purple lipstick! I just recently ordered a few from lime crime and I love the quality of them, I was worried the black wouldn't go on evenly but it's so pigmented and creamy. People don't really wear that kind of thing where I'm from, but who cares - have fun with it, I do!
