Does anyone know of any good products to treat an itchy and dry scalp?! I use garnier as a shampoo and condition and then sometimes I use head and shoulders as shampoo and aussie minute miracle as a conditioner but I feel like it's not really helping. I am afraid to use conditioner on my scalp because I have fine thin hair so I don't want my hair to be oily, but maybe that's my problem and I should just suck it up a couple of times a week? Lol please help! My scalp is so itchy and I need a miracle!

I have psoriasis and to beat the itch and reduce flakes, I boil 2 cups of water...then steep 2 green tea bags overnight in it. Put the cool tea in a squeeze bottle. I wash my hair, apply the rinse and use a turbi-twist while it soaks on my scalp for an hour. Then I rinse and condition. You can find Paul Mitchell has Tea Tree shampoo and Sally's has an excellent "Generic" brand tea tree oil treatment as well.

Aveda scalp benefits is amazing! I use it occasionally when my scalp gets dry and itchy and it takes it away! it's been a miracle worker on a few of my clients who had terrible scalps!

Since you have dry and itchy scalp, avoid using the head and shoulders shampoo. You can treat your scalp with yogurt and lemon juice mixed together. Keep it on for a while and wash it off. I hope it helps.:)
