Today I assisted in a salon with makeup and came home to do my first paying CLIENT ever. Here's the before and after. Constructive criticism is definitely needed.

Meant to capitalize EVER not client 😂😂😂 And thank you ladies. She actually is wearing a blush I was just super nervous that I would overdo it so I was so lighthanded. I'll add more next time! 😊

It looks very natural , not to over the top and not to casual
I would have loved a bold lip but it still looks great as is (:

And kudos to you for getting your business going! You're inspiring me. I need to get on my game and do hair (and stuff) in college. Gonna run a beauty salon out of my dorm room lol

If you were going for an everyday, natural look this looks so great! Even if you weren't it still look amazing- I'd just add a pop of lip color. Good job! (:

Thank you so much ladies! And thank you Symone I'm so glad that I'm inspiring you. It had been THE STRUGGLE getting this little business going. I have poured my heart and soul and so much money into it. But it is SO
worth it.
And thank you for the suggestion ladies! This look was for her military ball and she was wearing a neon pink dress so we didn't want it to clash or be too much, you know? But I would love to see a deep dark lip on her! 😍😊

Congrats on your first client!! You are very motivating it's my dream to become a makeup artist after I graduate from highschool. sometimes I just think I should just do something easier and safer. It's really motivating to see someone follow their dreams.

Thank you beautiful!! But girl, who says you have to wait until you graduate?! Start now!! I haven't graduated yet but I'm out here working my butt off. You can be too!! 😊😊😊 And I know exactly what you mean with the whole easier/safer thing. But you know what? There are are unemployed people out there that have medical and law degrees. And there are makeup artists out there making 100k a year. It's all about your drive, determination and work ethic (and a little bit of luck!) Therefore I wish you the best of luck! I hope to see some "Makeup by Bemnia" posts soon! 😊

This looks great! Her skin looks so nice in the after picture, amazing job on the foundation and everything in general! (:

She looks awesome! I love that it's a natural look. If you were going for a more night time look I'd go darker on either lips or cheeks, but hey, for a first time it's amazing. And I like your story on not having graduated yet but starting now on getting clients. That is so smart! It takes a lot of work, and starting in school is great. You might think a salon will help you, but man, mine cut me so deep in the back. So keep building yourself! You will go far :]
