Tea tree products from the body shop? Great for acne? I'd like to know!! :)

You can buy tea tree oil and use it as a spot treatment if you dilute it with water :)

The tea tree range from the Body Shop is worth twice the hype! The products do not burn my sensitive skin, work so well in preventing breakouts and making skin soft and supple, and although the moisturiser don't feel very moisturising but I have had no flakes so far!

I had the cleanser & toner & was totally unimpressed. Everyone else loves it. It did nothing for my breakouts & the wash didn't really lather well. Maybe we weren't made for each other. I prefer the seaweed line if I'm buying from the Body Shop.

Oh, I am sorry you had a bad experience Mallory C., the original tea tree cleanser does not lather much, they do have a foaming tea tree cleanser too, my roomie just as disliked the wash because she used it just after coming from the gym and had lotsa sweat and grime on her face. For such conditions, you need a product with salicylic acid, the tea tree cleanser is supposed to be milder and you need to give it some time to work, like a couple weeks cuz its got organic ingredients so doesn't work right away.

Lather is often chemically induced, which is why many greener products have so little. 100% Pure, for example, makes an amazing vanilla body wash with little later. My all natural oatmeal soap also has little lather. Just a little info. I use tea tree from the pharmacy on occasion and know several people who have benefited from The Body Shop kit. Everyone's skin has different needs, obviously, but I wish you best of luck!

I have the foaming cleanser, squeaky clean scrub and clearing toner. For the first month my skin broke out horribly so I started using half of what I was and its okay now. I'm not really impressed with it tbh. I would recommend buying the starter kit and testing it out!

I really did like their oil but the bottle was so small I didn't want to keep spending money on it because I'd go through it so fast. I used it more as a whole face serum than a spot treatment so that could be why but that's how it worked best for me. The only other thing I've tried was the oil absorbing moisturizer. I didn't really like it at all, it was a little too drying and not very moisturizing at all.
