Might sound weird but put a dap of toothpaste on the spot and sleep with it, it dries it up so it's completely dead in the morning! It done it for me and come no 'ones goner see you while you sleep so it don't matter unless you live with your boyfriend but screw him you should be comftable and have a laugh about those things anyway, but just to warn you it does sting! That's how you know it's working though, beauty's pain;)

Just any toothpaste? @Keeley R.

I suggest you do not try the toothpaste. It can burn your skin and irritate it. The toothpastes now have very harmful ingredients. I talk from experience. I recommend using a spot treatment instead like Neutrogena on the spot or Clean and Clean advanced acne treatment.

Toothpaste will burn your face. Oldtimes toothpaste used to have an ingredient that helped with acne. But not anymore. Nowdays toothpaste will damage and irritate your skin. If you want face mask the best thing out there for acne is pure green clay masks. It sucks up all impurities, heals skin promoting circulation and fades scars. But if you don't want something home made use a honey-lemon face mask. It has to be raw honey, honey is antiseptic and healing, some drops of lemon, mix and leave for 15-20 min. But I suggest you to get green clay.

I know your looking for a diy treatment but honestly you would be much better off going and picking up a salycilic acne product. toothpaste can definitely damage your skin that stinging is actually irratation that can result in burning. lemon is the same it will irratate it doing more harm then good. have you ever gotten lemon on a paper cut...ouch! imagine that on broken already sensitive skin from a pimple!

Well unless you pinch a pimple and right after apply lemon you will not feel anything. As a natural antibacterial, lemon juice can fight the bacteria that cause acne. It's good to reduce blackheads as well. The antioxidant L-ascorbic acid in lemons is the active ingredient in other products.
Lemon's AHA helps clarify dark spots from acne. Just do not expose yourself to the sun while using lemon. And mix it with honey preferably.
