Okay, so I am very new to this type of stuff. I know it may be shocking in this day and age, but i have NO IDEA how to start up a blog or put videos up. could you guys please help an old lady out with this modern technology! LOL!! any advice wil be super appreciated!

There are several ways you can syndicate your blog using Blogger, Wordpress, Tumblr, etc... I've found Blogger and Tumblr the easiest and most intuitive to use. Wordpress is for those that are more detail oriented and want as much creative control with how to lay it out and maintain it. Blogger is more if you want to publish your own articles, and Tumblr is more useful for FOTD type of blog entries.

Youtube is the most common platform for video uploading... another good one is DailyMotion. When you create a Youtube account, your homepage wiill have a line of links at the very top right hand side - and you will find "UPLOAD". Click on that, and it will bring you to a page to help facilitate getting your videos online.
