I have short hair..and I would like to grow it out but it is going to be so ugh.

I know wear head bands, scarves, etc. I just have lots of hair and very curly.

Please give whatever advice you have.

I dont want it past my shoulders so that's the good part. Looking for a bob a slight bob

I think you're gorgeous with short hair!! There was a spot in InStyle about Ginnifer Goodwin and how she wears her pixie - so many cute options!

I am going to look for it and thanks so much on the compliment. I love how easy it is to fix but I feel like it gets boring. I am going to look at the article :)

and if anyone else is interested here is the article

I agree you look so nice with your hair style ! But yeah if you want to grow your hair I would suggest you reduce the frequency of your trims (obviuos :D)

And also try massaging oils into your hair on a weekly basis (you just need to keep it on for an hour).I would say a combination of Olive and Almond oil with a little bit of castor oil (castor oil promotes new hair growth, optional though as i hate the smell) .
Massaging stimulates the hair follicles which in turn promotes growth !

PS : I have heard a lot of Moroccan Oil (from Josie )but have not tried and it is a bit pricey !

Couple this with a diet of walnuts, almonds and if you can flax seed (it is awesome for your hair) and in time your hair will grow ! The extra shine is a plus

But patience is a virtue :)

Hope it helps ! Let me know !

I chopped my hair off almost as short as yours a year ago, and I'm trying to grow it out, too. I totally understand how boring short hair can get after a while, eventually you just want to try some other styles!

My advice is just to use as few products and do as little to your hair as possible. Try to go without using heat to style and, if you can, avoid styling sprays and gels. Give your hair some time to go naked and it'll grow for you.

Other than that, I second the oils. Sometimes I rub olive oil in at night and then wash it out in the morning.

Good luck!  :)

Wow thanks guys a few months back I didn't want to cut it and let it grow. It was growing but just too much for the summer. Thanks guys
