hmm i think one of the best things i bought for under 5 bucks is the elf eye shadow brush i have 2 I use them soo much!
I think one other thing I love love it sinful colors nail polish!!!! 1.99 and when they go on sale for 99 cents i go nuts buying! they are great polishes and stay on for days (at least for me)

I'm with Naomi. Those two things alone are awesome.
I also adore my Jordana blush. Mine has lasted so long I can't even tell you when I got it. I've had it for years. I'm not even sure they make it anymore.
The elf lipglosses in the tubes are pretty awesome for a buck as are the minty ones, I can't remember what they're called.
Essence of Beauty brushes so far I've liked.
Sally Hansen Xtreme nail colors are awesome, too.

Elf studio line brushes are awesome & only $3 each! Also, the NYC smooth skin bronzer in sunny, and the elf complexion perfection powder is my favorite powder ever for mattifying my face throughout the day when it gets shiny, it's seriously amazing and only $3 as well !
