On the Today show I just watched yet another beauty "expert" recommend L'Oreal's Million Lashes mascara. This is the only product I've ever tried that I really, really disliked and I have yet to hear anyone else say a bad word about it! I've done two reviews on YouTube (the first time I hated it so much I gave it a second chance...sucked the second time too) and I watched others video reviews and I can't believe people love this product! It made my lashes crunchy, it smelled sooo bad and was clumpy and flaky.
Please explain to me why women like this product. Am I just too picky? I've tried dozens of mascara in my life and this is the only one I haven't liked!

LOL, I tried that - and I didn't know that other people do that as well. I did it with this one as it was liquidy and I prefer thicker mascara...but it just made it clumpier. I even bought a second one because I thought maybe the first was a bad batch, but it was just the mascara. And it's not just the formula - I don't like the brush either.

What IS your favorite mascara? Possibly if its high end maybe you are picky? I really don't know what to tell you because it definitely does not make my lashes crunchy or smell bad. And it only gets clumpy if I apply TOO many coats. I absolutely love this mascara, I get so many compliments when using it.
One product is never perfect for E V E R Y O N E. Guess this one just isn't for you!

I don't really have a favorite, although I love the regular Voluminous. I also like Maybelline Falsies, Rimmel Day 2 Night and Cover Girl Professional...definately not high end. I just thinks it's strange that everyone I've spoken to and every review I've seen hasn't just been a like but a LOVE. That's why I read a lot of reviews - I like to hear a lot of opinions before I purchase something. I'm just trying to find out why I'm the only one this was a fail for, lol.

That's what I thought too! I figured I got a bad one...so I bought it again a couple months later from a different store in a different town and it was the same as the first, lol. It could be the same lot, but I'm thinking it's just me, lol.

That mascara does smell bad. I have had mine for a while and it hasen't dried out but I do notice at the end of the day it has a tendency to make my lashes more brittle than my other mascaras. I do still use it I always change up my mascaras so I get a chance to use them all LOL. I do love the Voluminous, Physicians Formula Organic Wear mascara, and Sephora Extreme Effect (i think thats the name).

when i first bought that mascara, i HATED it. it took me time to be able to apply it to make my lashes look amazing...now it's one of my favorite mascaras.

Regular Voluminous is my favorite drug store mascara since I was a teen, I did not like this one either, so I gave it to my daughter and its her favorite lol she is on her 3rd tube now. It just depends on the shape length of your eyelashes, I agree we are all different(:

I hate this mascara.. i just dislike Loreal mascaras... I love maybelline tho, the million lashes is wayyyyy to hard to get off and my lashes are hard and crunchy.. dislike!!!

I'm on of those people 😅 I absolutely LOVE it. I love the way it makes my lashes look and feel. I'd never noticed the smell before, but I just smelled and I have to admit, it does have a weird scent.
Just goes to show though that we're all different (:
