Any recommendations on a good sea salt spray? Or any product that will help give a beachy, summery tousled look. I was going to try out Bumble & Bumble's surf spray, but I've heard mixed reviews about it...

You could always just make your own, :) Thats what i do and it works great. I get a lot of compliments when I wear my hair scrunched with it.

I've seen techniques of DIY spray using regular table salt, but I've been a bit skeptical! Is that how you've made yours?

DON'T use table salt. Table Salt is processed & can become yucky over time. Sea Salt is the purest form of salt there is. I've worked with Sea Salt a lot because of healing piercings, stretched ears, etc & the BEST solution is easy. One cup of water & 2 tablespoons of Sea Salt. Make sure the water is hot - As SOON as it starts to boil, turn down the heat, pour the sea salt into it & stir until most is dissolved.
After that, you'll have a very universal spray! You could use it on your hair, or any healing skin on your body. Sea Salt promotes healing so it's great to have handy. :D

If you're going to buy one, I recommend Zotos Hold It! Wave Maker Beach Spray from Sally's. The price is right & it works great. I use it every day :)
