Did it stain?

I was warming wax at my future in-laws house (we were living with them at the time) and when I took it out of the microwave I didn't lift the jar high enough and it caught on the lip of the glass turntable, which caused the jar to tip accidentally spilling 1/3 of the wax down my sleeve (thank goodness I was wearing a sweatshirt), all over the stove, counter, down the oven and onto the tile floor. OMG. Thankfully it was my day off and everyone else was at work because it took about 2 hours to clean up. It was that Lavender Spa wax by Sally Hansen. I had to throw out my sweatshirt and my husband spotted it in the trash and I had to confess what happened but he kept my secret safe and never told his mom. LOL. I can't even tell you what it's like to scrub wax out of grout.  xoxo

Oh no ...
My friend and I got a "recipe " for homeade wax when we were about 15 . It said to mix sugar and water and let it boil then pour it on the counter , let harden slightly and tranfer to a jar . I don't know why neither of us thought about the fact that it really didnt sound right lol. It stuck to the counter and there we were scrubbing with scorching hot water for hours trying to get every last bit of it off. Needless to say ... We went to a salon for that moment on lol.

I've never done anything TOO bad, although I am very clumsy and drop makeup testers all the time lol. Although once I was with my friend when she dropped a full bottle of Clinique Happy, and when I say dropped I don't mean handed it to someone who didn't catch it. She was standing perfectly normal and it just slipped out of her hands! The employees weren't too happy with us and we got the heck out of there ASAP LOL :D

when i was really young, my babysitter and i were removing our nail polish. my mom had this little handpainted walnut box that she kept cotton balls in so we took some out and then shut the lid. well, we were sitting on the floor and i guess we didn't want to get the removed polish on the carpet so she started setting them on the closed box. by the time we were done, the remover and polish on the cotton balls had eaten through the finish on the box and ruined it. my mom was soo upset!

Oh no Terra! I've done something like that before haha. I'm a huge clumsy person and I'm glad I'm not the only person.

One time I was trying to look for a specific pigment that I wanted to use and opened a couple to play with the colors and managed to completely spill 2 of them on my carpet and then halfway spill a third one all over my clothes while I was sitting in front of my desk. This kind of stuff happens to me all the time! & it doesn't even stop at makeup. Somehow I managed to burn two lines on my elbow with my flat iron. I'm so clumsy! haha

Oh, dear. Did you manage to get the dye out?

I was in a fashion jewelry store while holidaying in Bangkok with my friend. It had a row of those 5 foot high bangle display stands and they were all just neatly organised and fully stacked. I turned around to fondle a necklace and the next thing I knew I heard a snap, and then a whole lotta noise as the displays just went tumbling down. It wasn't a huge store but the floor was covered, COVERED with bangles. There were bangles laying on my feet and some had rolled out of the store.

I think we were all quiet for the longest time before my friend just started apologising (she didn't stop until we left the store, really). I think I had a little out-of-body episode looking at the damage at this point but then I snapped out of it and just started picking up everything I could.

I asked my friend what happened and, apparently, her bag had gotten snagged on one of the display's hooks and the stand just snapped and toppled over when she walked past, taking the others down with it.

The ladies at the store were the sweetest, though. Just smiling and laughing all the way as we all dropped to our knees trying to put everything to rights. It was hilarious.

Needless to say, my friend dropped quite a bit of dough (guilt money!) there that day. And I bought the ladies some tea and snacks. 'Cos they were REALLY sweet. Good times!

I usually do my makeup sitting on the floor in front of my closet and I keep certain products open in front of me while doing so...WELL one day while doing my makeup my pet rabbit decides to hop in front of me onto all my open makeup (and I just so happen to be using LOOSE eyeshadows that day too)! HUGEE mess because of the loose shadows : /Silly rabbit even left a lil foot trail across the carpet bc the eyeshadow were pretty pigmented haha! I couldn't be mad at him though he's too cute :)
