Speaking of being impatient - I just bought a concealer pallet & its estimated delivery time is the 29th till the 12th of next month.. As soon as I saw this, I thought of this topic. I'm usually patient... but the 29th?!?! Ahhhhrrrgghh. lol

I like buying online because there's usually some good deals and samples you can pick up. And usually when my package finally arrives I get sooo excited and run inside to open it. It's like Christmas even though I know what I'm getting haha. But I'm only impatient for the first few days, then I forget I even ordered anything and wonder what I spent my money on haha.

I'm right there with you Nykki! I can be very impatient when I order something online...it's like I paid my money I want it now! Sometimes I have dreams about the products or products I want too haha so funny! And once I see it's shipped I OBSESSIVELY check the tracking. I probably check it a billion times at work.
And if I dont have tracking I'll get really anxious to see when it's going to arrive...like right now I won another beauty bloggers giveaway (yay!) and my package is coming all the way from Ireland and I'm just SO anxious for it to arrive already!
How do I cope? I just deal with it guess :) and I busy myself with other things so I'm not thinking about it, which isnt too hard to do.

lmbo off! Amanda Yes! That is me too! Like I know that I am recieving my package on the 12th, well that is what is says on UPS, but what if the UPS guy drives fast!?!? Maybe it can be here tomorrow? So I alway check check check! I dream about getting it and using it! It is pretty bad!
I also find a way to cope by being busy! Thankfully Jason (My Fiance) is on Vacay this week from work, so I have something to do!! :)

i am not a big online shopper at ALL. i like to see things in person..especially makeup. and i like to try clothes on before i buy them. i also HATE paying shipping and i also hate waiting for things to come in the mail!

I do love online shopping, it's like therapy for me haha. I don't mind the wait cause I usually forget about it, but I love the feeling that I know that something is arriving in the mail just for me...just coming home to a package is exciting.

I love love love! Online shopping! I do it all the time.. Half of the make up I own is from the internet. Here in the netherlands we don't have everything like in america or other countries. We have a few sephora counters, which don't carry all brands sephora should carry and then a few mac counters, and one mac pro store in Amsterdam, I've heard of one inglot they recently opened in Amsterdam and revlon has 1 rack in a drugstore and they lack in products.. Overall I'm forced to do on line shopping if I want some variety. And I don't have to go to to the bigger cities to get it. It's also cheaper for me to shop on line because I pay in dollars and 1 euro is like $1,39 at the moment, even with those crazy shipping rates it costs me less than I would pay for all of that here..

I used to be that way. I hate the thought of waiting a week when I can just drive 10 minutes to the store. Now I have two kids so its close impossible to do personal errands. So online shopping has become my favorite way to shop. In the beginning it was hard, but now I think of it as order it and forget about it. Well not completely forget, but try to occupy my mind until the package arrives. It also depends on what I'm buying and whether its cheaper online or in store. Example: E.L.F has really good coupon deals like free shipping for $25 and over, plus they don't charge tax. So if I'm thinking of purchasing that much stuff then I'll buy online, but if its just a lipgloss I'll go to Target. The ebates site that I found out about from Sayanythingbr00ke and Xsparkage makes it more interesting because you get cash back on the things you love. Overall online shopping is not so bad!

When I first started shopping online, I went crazy with it and I ended up getting stuff I didn't even need. Sooner or later I came to my senses (that, and now I only live a few minutes away from the mall when I'm up at school) and realized that it's better to be able to try things on in store...so now I only order online when I absolutely can't find it in stores, or if it's a limited edition item. I also don't have the patience to wait for my online purchases to come to the mail :P
Also, shipping is killer so I try not to shop online unless I have a coupon code for a free shipping code for a store.

Given I live in a very small town where almost every store I like is a long drive away (minimum 2.5 hours; maximum ~6 hours with some makeup brands available only "across the pond"), and where some brands I like aren't available locally or have limited availability locally, I do a lot of online shopping, and I like it. The anticipation of a package from whatever/wherever is just... *bounces in her chair* Not to mention the fact I can shop in the dead of night if I want to. (Why yes, I'm a night owl; why do you ask? ;))
