Hi guys! So i am definatly a newb at this whole makeup thing, so I am in need of some help. My old brushes I got from a friend are dying and I need new ones! I am having a hard time figuring out what to get for a reasonable price. Got any suggestions?

I really like my elf brushes. They are from the 1$ line. I just need brushes that do their job of putting my make-up on. lol. These to just that and for only 1$! I may check out the studio line though!

Royal and Langnickel are great brushes for the money and are used by makeup artists.

FOR SURE ELF! :) Sigma is so unnessecarily expensive. I haven't tried them, but ELF ones are amazing and SOFFFTTTT! :) from the stuio line. they're 30 bucks online for a set of 12, but you can always get a 50% off studio coupon code so they end up being 15. :)

I would definitely stock up on brushes from ELF! If you go to the sigma website there's a deal where you can buy a whole brush set for I like $70, they're totally worth it and they're really high quality.

Edit:: Coastal Scents is also really nice for inexpensive brushes.

Unfortunately I didn't have such a great experience with my ELF brushes. My $1 Eyeshadow brush broke the moment I removed it from its packaging and my foundation brush irritates my skin. Their blush brush from their studio line is okay. I really love my Eco Tool Brushes! Very soft and great quality for their price. I didn't really believe the reviews till I checked out my cousin's set. Now I own a set of my own and plan to buy more.

+ I love the ELF eyeshadow brushes. I'm super paranoid about bacteria and my eyes, so I use clean brushes every day.
+ Ecotools have awesomely soft face brushes. I enjoy them as much as some of my older brushes that I have kept.
+ Essence of Beauty is a brand exclusive (as far as I know) to CVS. Their brushes are inexpensive and pretty good quality.
I hope this helps some. :)

^I agree w/ Kathleen. Those are probably the 3 best drugstore brands to start with, and best value for your money VS. performance.
