I didn't have acne problems at all until I started college. It really bummed me out that I was breaking out so much all of a sudden, but now my skin is clearing up and here's what I've been doing:

In the morning- wash with Cetaphil cleanser for sensitive skin, tone with Clean & Clear astringent, moisturize with Celestial (from LUSH).
In the afternoon - whenever I finish a workout, I make sure to wash my face, even if it's just with regular soap and water.
At night - Take off make-up with Sephora's eye make-up remover and get the rest with Say Yes to Cucumber wipes. I then alternate between St. Ive's Apricot Scrub & LUSH'S Ocean Salt. If my skin gets super dried out after that, I'll use LUSH's eau de roma toner and a tiny bit of moisturizer. I finish my regimen by putting on acne medication (in a liquid bottle) that my dermatologist prescribed.

ahh i feel like i gave everyone the impression i have terrible acne which i don't! D:
i just hate hate hate having little pimples and every since i started stressing out about things they would pop up randomly, i just want a way to clear them up and prevent them to keep them away. stress and probably hormones are my enemies at the moment.

try elf's zit zapper pen! i've been using it lately whenever i see a pimple starting to form & they hardly ever break through the skin! plus it's only $1 so it's not a total loss if it doesn't work for you!

E.L.F.'s zit zapper is good to keep the pimple/zit from getting really big. It's like the doesn't get rid of it completely for me but I like that I don't have to worry about the pimple taking over my face lol.

Oddly enough using makeup removing cloths every night has helped to keep my skin clear than it's ever been. My Dove body wash is also one of the better products that's cleared up my skin. Go figure.

Water water water water all the time. Keeps your skin healthy and makes you feel better.

I'll be trying out some of these products mentioned though. Thanks girlies.

i have dealt with acne my entire life. I never went to a dermatologist and have always relied on drugstore products. I've tried everything but keeping my face moisturized with Oil Of Olay products has made a huge difference. I cleanse with Oil of Olay anti-aging daily renewal and then moisturize with the daily renewal cream twice a day. Diet and exercise also play a huge role in clear skin. It keeps you youthful and radiant! Plus sunscreen! It often gets overlooked as a moisturizer.

I love Proactiv! Don't waste your money buying the 3-step kit, instead, only get the repairing lotion and repairing sulfur mask for emergency breakout situations. For toner, I really like The Body Shop's Seaweed toner for combo/oily skin & I switch my lotions after every bottle. I'm trying out The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil toner right now but I think I prefer the Seaweed toner instead.

I basically follow a pretty strict skincare program and I try very hard to stay away from consuming a lot of processed foods (high in sodium and sugar). Twice a day I drink two cups of green tea and upon waking in the morning I immediately guzzle down hot water with three tablespoons of real lemon juice. Been doing this for a few months now and I've been seeing positive results. One can have all the right products but if you aren't watching what you're putting into your body then the negative results will come out in your skin.
