Ok so I need to do something with my hair...anything. I just don't know what. It looks pretty much like it does in the pic, maybe a bit longer, but I need an updated look...I'm just clueless! Any suggestions would be much appreciated! This includes color as well as style! Please keep in mind though that I have at least 3 kids to get ready to go in the morning, so whatever style I choose needs to look great without spending 3 hours on it!

I'm not a hair stylist by any stretch of the imagination but I suggest maybe cutting off some length and getting it layered to give it more volume. Maybe go a few shades lighter with her your hair....highlights would look nice or if you're willing to have a full commitment go for a full color dye job still sticking with a two shades lighter than your current hair color. I hope this helps. :)

Just like Shelley i am in no way a stylist. But I agree with her in the idea of lighter hair with highlights. You can always do the base color and then go in for highlights since you mentioned your kids. I think the color will accentuate your skin color. Layers will look great and maybe side bangs if your into that? lol But, I included a picture!

Thank you both for your input! I am thinking I'll definitely give the highlights a try, and probably the layers too! don't wanna lose too much length but maybe a little bit! I had been toying with the idea of the side bangs, but was still not sure...hmmm might as well try it! I'm lucky enough I can get it all done for free (I work in a salon)so I suppose I should just go all out :)
